remember when i went to the hospital because i thought i had appendicitis? and it turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst? well, this is my life.
tuesday... the day started out perfectly fine, i didn't have work and Kyle didn't have school. we slept in and decided to start putting stuff into storage since we are moving on the 22nd. we made to trips to the storage unit and got a lot of boxes and other things put away. somewhere in there i started to notice i had a stomach ache but didn't think anything of it. we hung out until kyle went to work and i was just watching some tv when my stomach really started to bother me so i took a bath, but that did no good so i went to lay down when kyle called me on his break. i was in a lot of pain and he lovingly decided to use me as an excuse to come home early to "take care of me". i thought i was constipated so he left to the store to get me a laxitive... while he was gone i started to throw up. it was awful. so i called my sisters and my mom (all the nurses in my family) and no one answered. perfect. well, eventually Corlista called me back and i was telling her all my symptoms and where the pain was and what kind of pain and she said i should go to the hospital, and i trust her so we got ready to go. i threw up some more, our home teacher came over and helped kyle give me a blessing, and we were off to the hospital.
10:30 we get to the hospital and the nurse asked me all the questions took my vitals, gave me a barf bucket and as she finished putting my iv in, i put that bucket to good use. i got a CT scan and had my blood checked and to my surprise the doctor come in and tells me its my appendix and i need surgery and scheduled me for 6 a.m.. it was 2. kyle left after they got me upstairs to a new room at 3:30 to "get some sleep".
he came back at 5:30 to see me off. the doctor was very nice, as was the anesthesiologist. the surgery went great, i remember nothing and the gave me morphine. yay! kyle went home to move one of our couches into storage and get some much needed sleep and KC came to visit me and brought me a balloon, king size reeses and a magazine, i love her. all the nurses were wonderful and very helpful. i was feeling pretty okay so they let me go home.
thanks to my sister my appendix didn't burst and i didn't die.

Sisters are definitely good for something. :) Just kidding. They are good for EVERYTHING. I'm glad it didn't burst as well.
